RECIPE AT THE END OF THE POST
Materials Needed:
- 2 skeins of Nautico yarn in color 5363 (Emerald)
- Círculo crochet hook, size 5.5 mm
- 2 turtle shell straps from Círculo, size 10
Execution
Stitches Used:
- Chain (ch)
- Single crochet (sc): insert the hook, yarn over, pull through the loop, and with another yarn over, pull through all loops.
- Crochet fringe: insert the hook where indicated, fold the yarn in half, yarn over, pull the yarn through and pass the ends through the loop, pull the yarn ends, and release (1 fringe). Repeat as needed.
- Fantasy stitch: follow the diagram.
Gauge: A 10 cm square in fantasy stitch following the diagram with the 5.5 mm hook = 11 stitches x 7 rows.
Size: 33 x 27 cm
Execution:
Bag – Start with a chain of 30 stitches plus 3 stitches to turn and work in fantasy stitch following the diagram, repeating from * to * 10 times. At 24 cm from the beginning, decrease 3 stitches on each side every 2 rows (3 times). At 33 cm from the beginning, fasten off. Make another identical piece.
Finishing:
Attach a strap to each side of the straight upper part (refer to the template) with a row of 10 sc and fasten off. Sew the sides. Close the bottom of the bag with crochet fringes as per the instructions. Cut 6 strands of 26 cm each for each fringe. Make a fringe every 3 chains from the beginning of the work.
